We’re building a different kind of room.

Chapter 2 of Jesus the High Road Leader reminds us that Jesus valued all people — even when it cost Him.

That’s the kind of leadership we seek to embody

We don’t walk it alone.

Great meeting today with Pam Pegram speaking on hard conversations.

One framework she shared was CALM:

Communicate early
Actively listen
Lead toward resolution
Maintain the relationship

A few key reminders:

• Leadership requires courage.
• Hard conversations aren’t meant to be confrontational, they’re stewardship.
• Feedback is love.

Before speaking, check your intention. Are you reacting emotionally, or seeking truth and resolution?

Pray for wisdom, discernment, and humility, and address the issue with the goal of maintaining the relationship.

One line that really stood out:

We aren’t called to “act” like Christ, but to become like Christ.

Great message and a solid reminder for leadership, faith, and relationships.

Happy 1st Birthday, Commerce & Ministry Collective!! 🎉

One year of growing, serving, and doing life together. As the African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.” This past year has been a powerful reminder of the beauty in collaboration, Christ-centered connection, and lifting one another up in both business and faith.

Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us to value others above ourselves — and this community is proof of what happens when we do. Here’s to more years of purpose, partnership, and going far together.
