n of a Bachelor’s Degree at UC Davis in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry in 1998, Aero and his wife Kara, who had also just earned the same degree, settled in Nevada County. Later that year Leaf it To Me was formed as a means to provide Nevada County with quality, science-based tree care and landscaping. Leaf it To Me, Inc specializes in tree establishment, maintenance and preservation. They provide a full range of tree care, landscape, and consultation services. Leaf it to Me, Inc uses spur-less tree climbing techniques for pruning trees. They have a full fleet of trucks and specialized equipment, including a chipper on rubber tracks, for those “hard to get to” locations. For root care and installations around trees that may impact trees root zones, they have an Air Spade excavation tool that excavates soil with minimal damage to roots.
