Here are some "tone tips" for your guitar. For a clean tone, turn the master all the way up, and turn the regular volume down. For distorted tones, do just the opposite!

A COOL FENDER AMPLIFIER PROJECT

Did you know that the OLD 40 watt Bandmaster and the 80 watt Showman are built on the EXACT same chassis?
Knowing that little fact I rebuilt an old Fender Bandmaster two X 6l6 power tube 40 watt amp to a four X6L6 80 Watt amp.
the project required new power and output transformers to support the extra tubes (80 watts will blow a 40 watt transformer!) and wiring of the extra tube sockets (plus some plus some tech talk crap)

It Came out like a Champ! Lots more power and headroom. A very satisfying "worth it" project

I also wire the amp so it can use: EL34, 6L6, 5881, KT66, KT77 and 7581 power tubes.Also the KT88 and 6550 power tubes for SCARY power.

It uses all the 12A - - preamp tubes, the "srv" favorite 5751 and all the ECC - - type preamp tubes.

BUT MORE. Ask about 100 watt and 120 watt versions. Even mo' scarier with the KT88 tubes.
