Meet the Team: Heather Dee
Heather Dee is JCG’s Director of Utilities. She enjoys working in an industry that provides something everyone needs. As technology evolves, so does the infrastructure that powers it. One of her favorite parts of the job is driving past a project and being able to say, “I helped with that.”
Throughout her career, Heather has learned that people share their experiences with friends and neighbors. That has shaped how she approaches her work: every conversation is an opportunity to leave someone with a positive story to tell.
Something people might not know about Heather? From 2018 to 2023, she tried competitive bodybuilding. She jokes that her kitchen game was weak and she never won, but she did take second place in the women over 50 category. There may have been only two people on stage, but we do not need to talk about that.
Outside of work, you can find Heather at the gym or checking out a festival, such as BBQ and Blues, Solon Beef Days or Marion Art Fest. She also started college studying architecture and worked part time as a drafter. She learned the distinctive drafting handwriting and has kept it up, although she says it is a little messier these days.
