The last of the front bed has been detailed. The grasses I removed will come right back, in fact I transplanted one from another area of the bed to fill in a bare spot-it shows in the first and second photos as a small clump. It was cut to the ground on the last visit (2 weeks ago). Also, we pulled a w**d that we decided to save and add a little contrast, its planted in front of the sign.

We only put in 5 hours this weekend toward the cleanup at the Hope for Families Center. We had hoped for more but are limited by the amount of debris we end up with. So, the rest of the weekend was spent doing preventative maintenance and upkeep on the Enchanted Lawns work van.

After doing a couple weeks of research, I think we will be planning a green fleet. It will cost a little more for equipment as the gas power is transitioned to electric, and the mower will be the last piece to get changed, but I think it will be a smart move.

Husqvarna has an impressive lineup of electric equipment, from w**d eaters to hedge trimmers and everything between, and also has a backpack battery system that will run every piece of equipment, and lasts all day on a single charge.

Mean Green Mowers also has impressive machines, ideally for us the 48 inch stand on and the 20 inch push mowers.

I already love my work, soon I can love the earth at the same time.
