🎉 Congratulations to Tony Poff, our latest Union Kudos Award winner!

Tony was nominated by two of his peers for his outstanding dedication, mechanical expertise, and commitment to keeping FireKing’s operations running safely and efficiently.

Recently, Tony responded to a breakdown involving a FireKing truck while it was out on a delivery route. By stepping in to repair the vehicle, he helped avoid additional expenses and ensured that both the truck and our crew returned safely to the facility. He has also acted quickly to address several safety concerns, demonstrating his continued commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.

Throughout the past year, Tony has played an important role in reducing maintenance costs and equipment downtime by completing major repairs in-house. His work has included repairing forklifts, replacing starters, water pumps and ignition switches, coordinating tire replacements, servicing mast lift cylinders, replacing an engine’s harmonic balancer and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical issues.

Tony’s ability to diagnose problems, develop effective solutions and complete challenging repairs has saved the company valuable time and money while helping keep our operations moving forward.

His strong work ethic, technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and willingness to step in wherever he is needed make him an invaluable member of the FireKing family.

🎉 Congratulations to Dana Freiberger, our latest Non-Union Kudos Award winner!

Dana was nominated by two of her peers for her exceptional teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to step in wherever she is needed. When an Accounts Payable team member was unexpectedly out of the office for more than a month, Dana took on additional responsibilities to help keep the department running smoothly.

By managing freight invoice processing, Dana enabled the Controller to focus on the purchase order side of Accounts Payable. Her support ensured invoices were processed on time, helping FireKing maintain strong vendor relationships and avoid unnecessary disruptions.

Even while taking on these additional responsibilities, Dana continued to manage her regular workload, meet every deadline, and maintain her consistently high level of performance. Her positive attitude, dependability, and eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges reflect the teamwork and collaboration that make FireKing successful.
