Food pantries across Central Ohio are experiencing critical shortages. In many cases, shelves are empty while lines wrap around the block. Executive directors are doing everything they can, including purchasing food online, just to keep their doors open.

Access to food is a basic human need. When our community safety nets are strained, we show up for one another.

In honor of cervical cancer awareness month, this month’s nonprofit spotlight is The Crawford Crew!

Founder, Diane Crawford, is a cervical cancer survivor herself, and created the organization in November 2009 with the mission to end HPV-related cancers. The Crawford Crew strives to achieve its mission by: “creating awareness, providing education, broadening outreach, increasing vaccination, removing barriers, eliminating stigma, and advocating for research”.
