Been a while, so here are some photos from a recent site visit. This small, vertical house is intended to appear fairly traditional upon approach and then immediately open up on the opposite side to allow for some killer views of Buzzards Bay and Cuttyhunk Island. The three story central stair is a dominant feature. The upper landing and stair serving the third floor is something that we’ve decided to hang from the roof—rather than support from below—because that’s just no fun.
