Innovus Government Solutions (IGS) was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in New Bern, NC. IGS operates within the Federal contracting space, and also provides a range of consultative services to commercial clients seeking business process improvement and achieving compliance with industry standards such as the International Standards Organization (ISO), and Capability Maturity Model Integrations (CMMI).
IGS was founded by Sean Vary to merge technical and management expertise gained through his service in the United States Navy, which was followed by industry-leading technical consulting experience provided to several high-level Department of Defense intelligence agencies and Special Operations Forces (SOF) organizations. His technical military experience includes managing and delivering SOF and Special Access Program (SAP) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) targeting operations, which culminated with his experience at a Tier 1 SOF organization building and overseeing ISR Targeting Training and Exercise programs. Since 2017, Mr. Vary has gained executive leadership experience, and most recently has served as a Vice President of a large defense organization.
Mr. Vary also has extensive experience in building, controlling, and improving business maturity frameworks, and has overseen large-scale business operations and initiatives, to include strategy development, business development, program management, and operational sustainment and improvement objectives.
IGS’s mission is to support the Federal Government in operational modernization initiatives, and furthermore, to advise fellow business owners on management, sustainment, and improvement methodologies recognized by international standards organizations.
