Roll N' Rock was started in 1978 with 1 truck and 1 trailer. In 1978 fuel was less than $1.00 per a gallon. I remember saying "if fuel goes over $1.00 per a gallon I am going to quit trucking." Obviously, I didn't. I owned several other trucks between my first truck and the first Kenworth I owned. It was a 1973 W900, which I purchased from Al Capone Trucking in Dallas, TX. I often wondered if there was any relation to the notorious gangster, but I doubt it. She meet her demise in 1983 when a dirt road in Oklahoma gave way. This truck is notable to the company history, because she is the one that made me loyal to the Kenworth brand. We currently have 11 trucks in our fleet and they are all Kenworth W900L's. I operated as a DBA from 1978 until April 28, 2016 when we(my wife Diane and I) converted to an LLC. We are looking forward to providing providing our community with many more years of service.
