Tidbit of the day:
💰 Money in the bank does NOT equal profit.
It’s one of the most common misconceptions we see with small business owners.
You look at your bank account and think, “We’re doing great!”
But your bank balance only tells you how much cash you have right now — not how profitable your business is.
Your bank account can include money that still needs to cover:
• Upcoming bills
• Payroll and payroll taxes
• Credit card payments
• Loan payments
• Sales tax or other liabilities
• Owner draws or distributions
And here's the other side of it: a profitable business can still have cash-flow problems.
That’s why looking at your bank balance alone can give you a false sense of how your business is really doing.
📊 Your financial reports tell the bigger story.
Clarity in your numbers. Confidence in your business.
