June 6, 1944: The largest amphibious and airborne invasion in history, involving roughly 7,000 ships/boats and 12,000 aircraft. Over 150,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches, forever changing the course of the Second World II, ending the N**i occupation in Western Europe.
