The GGAF is the first ever international arts expo dedicated to the promotion of the United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development through the power of arts. It is scheduled to attract artists from the various diversity of arts from around the globe to converge in Hartford and New Britain, Connecticut, USA to promote and advocate for the need to implement the SDGs in Sub-Saharan Africa
and beyond while displaying their rich creativity and artifacts in various categories to patrons ranging from diplomats, expatriates, government officials, industry players, art lovers, the youth and the general public. The Global Goals Arts Festival was launched on Tuesday 29th August, 2017 by imminent global citizens lead by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Her Excellency the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Ghana, Mad. Musaka, Her Excellency the South African High Commissioner, Mad Lulu Xingwana, ably supported by other notable diplomats and arts industry stakeholders in Ghana, Tang Palace Hotel, and coordinated by Rainbow Innovations as a signature event for the promotion of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the power of arts globally in Accra Ghana. At the helm of this groundbreaking initiative stands BIDEC INC, fortified by the unwavering support of a consortium of esteemed associates. Together, this collective assemblage is poised to propel the Global Goals Arts Festival to unprecedented heights, inspiring profound change and catalyzing impactful progress on the global stage. The mission of the Global Goals Arts Festival is to harness the universal language of art to raise awareness, inspire action, and mobilize communities worldwide in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through creative expression and collaboration, we strive to drive positive change towards a more sustainable and equitable world. The GGAF is expected to attract diplomats, expatriates, government officials, industry players (buyers, collectors, promoters, galleries, journalists, art lovers, children and the general public. Nevertheless participants at the expo can be classified into the following groups;
• Sponsor or Partner
Institutions have an opportunity to achieve a global corporate social responsibility by joining the GGAF by sponsoring any of our 5 events, 17 categories of the SDGs Arts Challenge prizes, or other logistical departments of the expo.
• SDGs Arts Challengers (200-300)
Artists from America, Africa and globally would have to register to participate in any of the 17 Categories of the SDGs Arts Challenge and win assorted prizes ranging from Airplane Tickets, cash, electronic devices, call credits, full year membership with the Tang Palace Artists Club.
• Volunteers (100-150)
Dedicated individuals can join as SDGs Volunteers by enrolling as a performer, protocol team member, online blogger, sales agent, and more.
• Guest or Tourist (5000)
The GGAE is ready to host as many guests as possible. And the organizers are ready with the best of accommodation, internal transportation, security, feeding, tourism, etc at the disposal of every tourists of the GGAF.
