Thirty five years ago Colonial Security Services was established and over the years has developed into a Security Guard Company that is now recognized as a leader in the industry. With more than 35 years of security experience, Colonial is licensed to do business in most of the eastern United States. Colonial has offices in Kenilworth, New Jersey, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware. Colonial presently has seventy eight accounts and employs over two hundred and ninety (290) Security Officers, all of which receive a level of training that exceeds each state’s minimal standard. Colonial possesses a certification to do business in the State of New Jersey and also holds a Certification as a bona fide Security Guard Company in the State of New Jersey .


Colonial prides itself on its’ customer retention rate. The current Chief Operating Officer, Steven Cozzi, left the New Jersey State Police after twenty eight years of service to oversee Colonial. As a result of his “hands on” approach when dealing with his clients and the issues that may arise, has resulted in a 99% customer retention rate. Because Mr. Cozzi treats each client as if they were his only client, Colonial customers feel as if their guards are part of “their team”, not a sub-contractor.
