We guarantee at the end of the night, you will feel good, confident and more versed in wine. His long-time interest in all areas of Italian food and cuisine has led him to several successful management positions in restaurants in NYC- including high-end Manzo, located in Eataly, FLatiron, NYC “a restaurant with a producer-centric menu celebrating meat of all kinds, and an expanded bar”. His deep understanding of, and passion for quality food is complemented by his knowledge and appreciation of wine. Massimo earned his sommelier certificates from The American Sommelier Institute in NYC and has also worked as sommelier and wine educator. The knowledge he acquired in the classroom, combined with the many visits to vineyards throughout Italy such as Castello Romitorio, Poggio di Sotto, Ciavolich and Peccorari, make him an excellent, knowledgeable presenter. Massimo has several very good relationships with Italian wine makers which give him an inside view into the complete wine production process, from the vineyard to the table.
