Let’s show support of Anna Tovtchigretchko the founder of the “UnLocked” project-- a student lead organization in the University of Maryland solely focused on providing support and resources to children of incarcerated parents. Asya ( as she is affectionately called by family) has secured a partial scholarship for her sojourn to Arizona this upcoming April 15 weekend for the National Conference of Children of Incarcerated Parents she now only needs logistical funds - and her goal is only 750$

As a way of background, Asya-my daughter was 9 when I went into the NYS penitentiary for a 5 year bid.
This horrific shared experience, as a mother and daughter bonded us, scarred us, made us love each other, hate each other, but whatever it did, it did it to both of us. She was also left with the uniquely painful, singularly isolating, shaming experience as a daughter of a mother she still loved was embarrassed to talk about, regularly visited and was confused as to exactly how she she should feel toward as there was no no one to talk to.

So instead of becoming yet another victim (albeit collateral ) of the criminal system she began Fueling her engines with the repurposed energy to constructively never let another similarly situated child have no place to go, no one to talk to, ask for advise, to never Be confused about how to feel towards their incarcerated parent!

This man just attempted to get me with a Zelle buisness account scam i am includeing the buyer and the screenshot below. I

How Does the Zelle Business Account Scam Work?

1. **Fake Payment Email**: A buyer agrees to purchase an item and suggests using Zelle venmo cashapp payment. Instead of sending payment, they send a fake email appearing to be from Zelle, claiming the seller needs to upgrade to a business account for a fee.

2. **False Reimbursement Request**: The buyer then contacts the seller directly, claiming to have already sent enough money to cover both the purchase and the upgrade fee. They request reimbursement for the fee, providing fake evidence of payment.

To not becomes a victim :

- VERIFY VERIFY VERIFY - call you bank, calk zelle call a friend !!! Do a basic google search !!! Always verify payments in your account before proceeding with mailing or refunds.

Here i I could’ve called my bank I could’ve called Zelle. I could’ve posted a message on the marketplace to see if anyone else had a similar experience. I just googled this I I googled Facebook. I googled common scam, Zelle, and overpayment just in case .

And google did the right thing by spitting out the right answer in the very first line and yes, thankfully I was right and yes, I felt validated and very very happy and I didn’t feel violated. I didn’t lose $500. I didn’t lose sleep over this I didn’t. I’m not kicking myself or anything right now so guys be careful and good luck !!!
