Horses are remarkably sensitive to subtle shifts in their environment.

That awareness happens before there is a story or explanation attached to it.

We have our own version of this.

Sometimes you notice tension in your body. A hesitation. A sense that something feels right, or that something is off, before you can clearly explain why.

That does not mean every feeling should dictate your decisions.

But it does mean your internal response is worth noticing rather than immediately dismissing.

Self-trust begins with paying attention.

What have you been noticing lately that might deserve a little more curiosity?

Sometimes we stay with a decision simply because we already made it.

We worry that changing course will make us look inconsistent, uncertain, or as though we made a mistake.

But new information matters. So does growth.

You may understand yourself differently now. Your circumstances may have changed. Something that once felt right may no longer fit.

Self-trust is not about stubbornly sticking with every decision you make.

It is also trusting yourself enough to recognize when it is time to choose again.

Save this post if you need permission to reconsider something that no longer feels right.

For some people, the desire to help horses goes deeper.

It becomes more than wanting to comfort a horse or understand them better. It becomes a desire to truly learn the work—to develop the skills, awareness, and confidence to support horses physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

If that speaks to you, Ginger Krantz’s Equine Healing Practitioner Training may be the path you’ve been looking for.

This comprehensive program includes live online teaching, hands-on equine healing practicums, one-on-one mentoring with Ginger, advanced fieldwork, and case studies designed to help you grow into the work with real experience and support.

You’ll explore how to:
• establish trust and a healing relationship with horses
• develop hands-on equine healing skills
• communicate with horses physically and spiritually
• support emotional, mental, and physical well-being
• deepen your understanding of trauma and healing
• build confidence applying what you learn in the field

The upcoming training begins September 12, 2026.

Registration closes August 15, 2026.

If helping horses heal feels like more than an interest—if it feels like something you want to truly learn and carry forward—this may be your next step.

One of the fastest ways to weaken self-trust is to use every imperfect outcome as evidence that you should have known better.

But good decisions do not always lead to perfect outcomes.

Sometimes you make the best choice you can with the information you have, and things still unfold differently than expected.

Self-trust grows when you can look back with curiosity instead of criticism:

What did I know at the time?
What did this experience teach me?
What will I do differently next time?

Learning from a decision strengthens you. Punishing yourself for it does not.

What would change if you treated a past decision as information instead of evidence against yourself?

Seeking input can be helpful.

But when we ask too many people, we can lose touch with what we actually think.

Each new opinion adds another perspective, another possibility, and sometimes another layer of doubt.

Before asking someone else, pause and ask yourself:

What do I want?
What feels aligned with my values?
What information do I already have?

Then try making one small decision without looking outside yourself for reassurance.

Drop a 👍 if strengthening self-trust is something you are working on.

We sometimes wait to make a decision until every doubt disappears.

But self-trust is not the promise that you will always choose perfectly or know exactly how things will unfold.

It is the belief that you can make the best decision available to you, respond to what happens next, and adjust when needed.

You do not have to predict the future in order to move forward.

You only need enough trust in yourself to take the next honest step.

Save this post for the next time you are waiting for certainty before making a choice.

How do you know when a horse is responding to healing?

Often, the horse will show you.

A deeper breath. A softened expression. A shift in posture or movement. A horse stepping closer, moving away, or quietly directing your attention to where more support may be needed.

During Healing with Horses: Foundational, animal healer, communicator, and teacher Ginger Krantz will guide participants as they learn to provide hands-on healing directly to horses—and recognize the subtle feedback the horses offer throughout the process.

Because equine healing isn’t simply something you do to a horse.

It is a dialogue.

Over two full days, you’ll learn how to establish trust, observe the horse before and after healing work, deepen your awareness, and grow more confident in what you notice, sense, and understand.

Past participants especially valued:

“Experiencing the horses’ communication with the healer.”

“The connection and subsequent reactions from the horses: they gave immediate feedback and input.”

If you want to deepen your connection with horses and learn practical ways to support their physical, emotional, and mental well-being, this is a powerful opportunity to experience that work firsthand.

Sometimes the clearest answer comes first.

Then the second-guessing begins.

We start imagining every possible outcome, wondering what other people will think, and searching for more opinions until the decision feels harder than it did in the beginning.

That does not mean every first instinct is automatically right. But it may be worth noticing what you felt before fear, pressure, and outside voices took over.

Self-trust often begins by listening more closely to your own response.

What did you know before you started talking yourself out of it?

Horses are highly responsive to clarity.

Mixed signals, hesitation, and pressure can create confusion. Consistent communication creates greater understanding.

The same is often true in our relationships.

A boundary does not have to be delivered harshly to be firm. It does not need anger, defensiveness, or a lengthy explanation to be valid.

Clarity can be calm.

It can sound like:

“This does not work for me.”
“I’m not available for that.”
“I need more time before I answer.”

Where could you replace overexplaining with one clear sentence?

🔥 FIREHORSE RISING RETREAT IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! 🐎

We are so grateful to everyone who said yes to this experience 🙏

In September, 16 participants will gather with Pam Hunter, Christina Layer, Melissa Romero, and the horses for two days of mindfulness, nervous system regulation, reflection, connection, and meaningful personal growth.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to release old limitations, reconnect with our inner power, and create space for something new to unfold.

Thank you to everyone who registered, shared our posts, forwarded an email, or helped spread the word. We can’t wait to gather with this incredible group and move from limitation to manifestation—together.
