Welcome to DSO Collective 💛

If you’re a dance studio owner looking for community that actually feels like community—you’re in the right place.

DSO Collective was created by Tami, Holly, and Robin, three studio owners who believe DSOs deserve more than surface-level advice or massive groups where it’s easy to get lost. We wanted a space that feels personal, supportive, and genuinely helpful—because we’re living this life right alongside you.

This is a home for:
✨ New studio owners finding their footing
✨ Established owners ready to uplevel their business and their life
✨ DSOs craving connection with people who truly understand the realities of studio ownership

Inside DSO Collective, you can expect:

A small, supportive community that’s not clique-ish or overwhelming

Real conversations with real DSOs in the trenches today

Wine Down Wednesdays, Coffee Chats, and curated retreats

Optional online courses, coaching, and done-for-you digital tools

Generous sharing of ideas, resources, and encouragement

Our goal is simple:
👉 Help you grow your studio
👉 Support you as a leader
👉 And remind you that you don’t have to do this alone

If you’ve ever wished for a group that feels like a circle of trusted studio-owner friends—this is it.

We’re so glad you’re here—and we can’t wait to grow something meaningful together. 💛

🌴 DSO Retreat Idea — Here’s What We’re Thinking… 🌴

Holly, Tami and Robin have been dreaming about bringing back a version of the retreats we used to host—but with an even more intimate, personalized, and restorative twist. Before we make anything official, we want to share the vision and see who feels called to something like this.

✨ The Retreat Concept:
A deeply customized, small-group experience for 2–3 Dance Studio Owners, each attending with their trusted second-in-command.

The goal:
Step away from the day-to-day
Recharge your energy + creativity
Work through the real challenges you’re facing
Connect with other DSOs in meaningful, supportive ways

🏡 Location:
My short-term rental property, Villa Coral Sunshine in Cape Coral, Florida—a relaxing, private home with plenty of sunshine, space, and good vibes.

📅 Format:
4 days total
• Day 1: Arrivals, settling in, welcome time, casual bonding
• Day 2–3: Full workshop days curated around YOUR studio’s biggest needs
• Day 4: Wrap-up, integration time, departures

This isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” retreat. Holly, Tami and Robin would tailor the content based on the specific DSOs who join—anything from leadership + staffing, to schedules + systems, to culture building, to revenue streams, to creative burnout, and beyond.

🍽️ Included:
Meals prepared by our private chef
One dinner out together
Some adult beverages included (BYOB to supplement!)
Plenty of intentional downtime
Pool + hot tub time
And possibly a special wellness/nutrition session with the Bulletproof Ballerina

💛 What We’re Hoping to Create:
A space where DSOs feel seen, supported, and inspired… while also walking away with tangible breakthroughs and renewed clarity.

👉 So now we’re wondering:
Would you be interested in something like this?

Drop a comment or DM me so we can get a sense of who might want to be part of the first group. If interest is strong, we’ll look at pairing DSOs with similar business attributes so each retreat group feels balanced and aligned.

Just exploring at this stage—but excited to see who this resonates with. 🌴✨

You may remember us from DSO Connect. Allow us to reintroduce ourselves!

Holly Brucker is the owner and director of Saucon Valley Dance Conservatory and a respected leader in the dance studio industry.

At just 21 years old, Holly took over an existing studio with 60 students—and a big vision for what it could become. Through decades of dedication, intentional growth, and plenty of trial and error, she has built SVDC into a thriving studio where over 600 students dance through its doors each week.

SVDC is known for its strong technical foundation, commitment to quality over quantity, and a thoughtfully balanced program that supports both recreational dancers and a highly competitive team. In addition to winning numerous costume design awards, Holly’s choreography has earned regional and national recognition, including Studio Technique and Choreography honors. Many SVDC graduates have gone on to pursue professional careers in television and film or continue dancing at the collegiate level—several as members of national championship Division I-A dance teams.

Beyond building an award-winning studio, Holly is deeply passionate about helping other dance studio owners create sustainable, profitable businesses without sacrificing their personal lives. Through strong systems, intentional studio culture, and smart leadership practices, she has created a business that runs smoothly—even in her absence—allowing her the freedom to step away with confidence, knowing her team and processes are solid.

Holly believes studio owners should not be prisoners to their businesses. Her coaching philosophy centers on working smarter, not harder—building clarity, structure, and confidence so studio owners can lead with intention and enjoy the lives they are working so hard to create.

Holly is thrilled to be teaming up with her DSO Connect friends, Robin and Tami to continue the work they started in 2015 through their new project: DSO Collective.

You may remember us from DSO Connect. Allow us to introduce ourselves again!

Tami is the owner of A Step Above Dance & Music Academy in Monona, WI, and a highly skilled studio consultant known for transforming creative businesses into organized, sustainable, and profitable operations.

With over two decades of experience in studio ownership, Tami specializes in the systems and structures that allow studio owners to step out of survival mode and into confident, balanced leadership.

As a founding member of DSO Connect, Tami has become a trusted resource for studio owners nationwide, particularly in the areas of financial management, budgeting, scheduling, policies, and workflow optimization. Her strengths in numbers, spreadsheets, and organization (often the most intimidating aspects of studio ownership) are exactly what make her such an effective coach. She has a unique ability to simplify complex business processes and help owners build systems they can actually maintain.

Tami’s approach is rooted in the belief that a well-run studio creates freedom, not burnout. She helps studio owners design businesses that support both professional success and personal well-being, proving that it is possible to run an efficient, high-quality studio while maintaining balance beyond the studio walls.

Today, Tami combines active studio ownership with consulting and mentorship, guiding studio owners as they strengthen their operations, gain financial clarity, and build businesses that truly support their lives.

Tami is thrilled to be teaming up with her DSO Connect friends, Holly and Robin to continue the work they started in 2015 through their new project: DSO Collective.

You may remember us from DSO Connect. Allow us to introduce ourselves again!

Robin is the Founder and CEO of EMC Performing Arts Studio and a seasoned studio owner with over 30 years of experience in the performing arts industry. She began her dance training at a small local studio in Baltimore before attending the Baltimore School for the Arts, where she developed a strong foundation in both performance and education.

In 1992, at age 22, Robin opened her first studio in a single-room space in Baltimore City. Through years of hands-on experience, learning what works (and what doesn’t), she grew the business into a multi-disciplinary performing arts studio now serving nearly 1,000 weekly enrollments in New Freedom, PA.

As a founding member of DSO Connect, Robin has guided and supported studio owners across the country through consulting, community leadership, and podcasting. She continues to share her expertise through her podcast, In the Spotlight: Raising Leaders in the Performing Arts, where she explores leadership, education, and the impact of the arts on youth development.

Today, Robin combines active studio ownership with consulting and mentorship, helping studio owners build sustainable, values-driven businesses while maintaining balance beyond the studio walls.

Robin is thrilled to be teaming up with her DSO Connect friends, Holly and Tami to continue the work they started in 2015 through their new project: DSO Collective.
