Are you a compassionate, organized healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Pine Tree Home Health Care is seeking a **Home Care Manager** to oversee and support our Personal Support Specialists (PSS) while ensuring exceptional care for our clients throughout the community.
Position Summary
The Home Care Manager is responsible for supervising and supporting home care staff, coordinating client services, maintaining schedules, conducting client visits, and serving as a liaison between clients, caregivers, case managers, and the office team. This position requires strong organizational skills, medical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support Personal Support Specialists (PSS) and home care staff.
* Create, manage, and maintain employee schedules.
* Conduct client home visits to assess care needs, monitor satisfaction, and ensure quality of services.
* Coordinate care and communication between clients, caregivers, family members, case managers, and office staff.
* Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of new employees.
* Monitor staffing needs and respond to scheduling changes or call-outs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
* Assist with care planning and service coordination.
* Support compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and quality standards.
* Serve as a resource for staff regarding client care concerns and best practices.
Qualifications
* Medical background required.
* Current or previous experience as a **Personal Support Specialist (PSS), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or other healthcare-related role preferred.**
* Experience in home care, long-term care, or healthcare services preferred.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly to changing situations.
* Comfortable working independently and making decisions.
* Scheduling experience preferred.
* Proficient with computers, email, and electronic documentation systems.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
