Turns out even Twisted Racks needs a vacation once in a while.

From the woods of Pennsylvania to the Most Magical Place on Earth, we’re taking a little time to recharge before getting back to what we do best—preserving the trophies and memories that mean the most to hunters.

Don’t worry… the skulls are still getting the attention they deserve. Every mount is cleaned, repaired, degreased, whitened, and finished with the same commitment to quality that built our reputation. Great results take time, and we’re looking forward to getting back in the shop to finish another round of trophies.

Went to Florida for vacation and was able to drop a couple of heads off in Virginia to save customer shipping costs. At Twisted Racks we strive to put our customers first and find ways for you to get your trophy done at a reasonable price. Personal delivery may not always be possible but we have always found a way to try and keep costs down. This does not mean we cut corners or quality but rather use unique purchasing and cost cutting measures instead of just doing what’s easy. Our customers come first and I personally want everyone to walk away from the shop with the feeling that we are there for them. Twisted Racks is committed with a customer first mentality and appreciate each and every customer.

Just because hunting season has wrapped doesn’t mean the precision, craftsmanship, and dedication at Twisted Racks Skull Cleaning ever slow down. The off-season is where the real work happens—where every mount is refined, restored, and perfected with the same intensity and respect as the hunt itself.

We’re putting the finishing touches on another batch of quality European mounts, carefully restoring natural antler color, repairing damaged skulls, and making sure every detail is right before they head home.

A trophy only gets one chance to be preserved correctly. That’s why we don’t rush the process. Whether it’s bringing faded antlers back to life, repairing broken bone, or giving a skull its final inspection, every mount gets the time and attention it deserves.

When you pick up a trophy from Twisted Racks, you’re getting more than a clean skull—you’re getting a piece of your hunt that’s built to last for generations.

This buck came into the shop with a broadhead still buried in its skull. Chances are this was the shot that ended his journey—but no matter what happened that day, the evidence remains frozen in time.
