I have over 20 years experience in social work with the geriatric community. My professional career started at the Lutheran Home in Clinton, NY where I quickly realized my natural connection with the elderly population. I continued in the field of social work in many area nursing homes for the remainder of my career. During this time I gained experience in nursing home rehab services, admissions, discharge planning, finances, Medicare, Medicaid and many of the other supplemental insurances. My expertise also include listening carefully to client's needs, concerns and preferences and recommending appropriate levels of care such as Independent Living, Assisted Senior Housing, Memory Care and In-Home Care. Caring for an elderly loved one is often overwhelming and mentally draining. I have had great success assisting clients in a wide variety of situations.
