Visiting this exhibition was delightful! It shows that people evolve and with them, their culture. This process is ongoing, dynamic, and deeply rooted in both memory and adaptation, reminding us that heritage is not fixed in the past but alive in the present. Textiles as storytellers!

These moments come from Nusantara: Six Centuries of Indonesian Textiles, an exhibition at the Yale University Art Gallery last year—an extraordinary journey through time, craft, and culture.
