Ad: It’s been over a year since adopting JJ, and tonight it was our first time to visit the Midtown area during Christmas together. It’s been so amazing to see JJ blossom from the shy, scruffy boy we rescued to the goofy, confident dog who can strut down Fifth Avenue like he owns the place. He’s a full fledged New Yorker now 🏙️ 🗽 🐺

We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy dog, and we are committed to making sure he is healthy in his future too. That’s why we are so proud to feed JJ Instinct Raw Food. We add the Healthy Mixers into his meal routine, and he absolutely loves it.

Urban photography for Cyrus and I usually means a digital sports camera and hundreds or thousands of photos. But recently I’ve been enjoying taking Polaroids or film photos on our walks. There is just something special about the instant tangible memory we receive and the perfection in the imperfect photos we get out of them.

It’s also been more enjoyable slowing down the process with slower cameras. It has improved our bond and communication as we work together get the shots just right. It also means more treats for Cyrus, which he loves.

Today we walked along 5th Avenue, Manhattan in the middle of the Christmas Season crowd. A few years back this would have been unheard of, but he has since grown so mature we are unafraid to go anywhere in the city together. He was having the best time, and he was popular with the hundreds of tourists there.

Here’s to more memories and more adventures in the city we call home 🐺 🏙️ ❤️
