One team. One mission. One great cookout. 🌭☀️

Yale Security officers work around the clock, so unit leaders wanted to make sure everyone had the chance to step away, share a meal, and connect no matter their shift.

That’s why this year’s annual summer cookout ran from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., giving day, evening, and overnight staff the opportunity to celebrate together.

Davenport’s dining room featured more than food this week🍴

Yale Public Safety’s Learning & Development Unit served up some potentially lifesaving skills to 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ college dining employees & managers during their weeklong training summit. Our team partnered with the Sterling Library Security Training team and members of to offer CPR awareness/AED/First Aid and Stop the Bleed training.

It was a productive day of teamwork and collaboration — connecting with leaders from across campus.

This week, the Yale Emergency Operations Team met in person to walk through a simulated scenario, strengthening coordination and preparedness in support of our campus community.

Last week, some members of Yale Public Safety – including Yale Police and Security – proudly participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Summer Games 🔥

During the 3 day , law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carried the Flame of Hope hundreds of miles across the state to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics programming.

Commencement may be over, but the celebrations continued as welcomed alumni back to campus for reunion weekends.

Members of the Yale Public Safety team, including police and security officers, were on hand throughout the weekend events to help ensure a safe and welcoming experience for returning alums.
