The future is bright! Thanks Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce

The Business Education Network and the Willmar Public School District welcomed Bethesda Living, Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc., Jennie-O, JR Business Solutions, Willmar Community Education, and Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA to Zero Hour in May.

Students loved snapping selfies with the Jennie-O turkey and grabbing fidget pens. 🦃 CMJTS promoted their summer camps while students played Jenga, and the YMCA had everyone guessing the weight of their mystery box as they learned about summer job opportunities. 🧩 Community Education offered bean bag tosses while sharing their programs and open positions. 🎯 Bethesda highlighted current job openings and handed out prizes, and JR Business Solutions invited students to spin a digital prize wheel—Bubblrs included—while talking through interview tips. 🎡

What is Zero Hour? ⏰
Zero Hour takes place during the first hour on Wednesdays at the Willmar Senior High. It’s a designated time for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Students who are caught up gather in the commons until classes begin. This open time provides a great opportunity to showcase local businesses.
