Your life story has many little details involved. I like to capture those moments that help tell your story. I am a natural light photographer who specializes in children’s photography. My philosophy is to capture children in their natural state- where they are most comfortable- therefore I COME TO YOU! It takes the hassle out of making a child feel comfortable in an unfamiliar environment (like

a studio). I do have a studio if that’s your fancy- the beauty is you decide! I think I was about 8 years old when I got my first camera. I’ve been snapping pictures from then on — during family vacations, at birthday celebrations, you name it. Becoming a mom in 2010 was the inspiration I needed to get this venture off the ground. My little man (also known as little D) provides ample opportunities for me to capture unique moments that mold our family story. Man aka Diesel) have shaped our story with memories and adventures each day. While I continue to capture our family tale, I also love to step into other people’s lives and catch their laughs and bright eyes as they reveal little pieces of their personalities. I would love the opportunity to help you document and share these fabulous moments we call life:)

A few moments to capture for today’s family story:

“Mom: Little monster do you want to ride a horse today?
Little Monster: yes, but not a unicorn 🦄 I don’t want them to have a horn.
Beautiful girl: That would be a pegasus!”
(After)
Mom: Did you have fun today?
Beautiful Girl: Yes, but Lightening (her horse) took off running on the trail.
Mom: so what did you do?
Beautiful Girl: Held on for dear life, and then pulled back on the reins.”
Thank you to for allowing families to create meaningful experiences together and individually. While our two littles were in kids camp, my husband and I got some 1:1 time with our oldest.

It’s easy for moments like these to pass...unless you get intentional about your life. In our case, time seems to be the most precious resource!

With that mindset we were intentional about creating and noticing these moments this weekend: brisk fall air with slight change in leaves, unplugged entertainment provided when we camp, fishing at sunrise and the authentic smiles that come to life on my son’s face when he pulls a fish from the lake, interesting decisions young boys make, the aroma of homemade soup, sharing, intense desire to complete the puzzle, creating simple new experiences like bobbing for apples and seeing each child’s individuality in the task.
