🌟 Exciting News for Indian Country! 🌟

We are thrilled to congratulate Washoe Housing Authority and Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Housing Authority on their recent awards under the FY2024 IHBG Competitive Program!

✨ Washoe Housing Authority (NV) has been awarded $5 million to construct 2 homes and develop infrastructure for 15 future homes, paving the way for more safe, affordable housing opportunities for their tribal members.

✨ Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes Housing Authority (OK) has received $6 million for the construction of 9 duplexes, providing critical housing for their community and addressing substandard living conditions.

In total, Morning Star Consultants LLC assisted four tribal communities in securing $22 million in FY24 IHBG Competitive funding for new construction activities!

The IHBG Competitive program is a cornerstone in fulfilling the Federal Government’s trust responsibilities to provide adequate housing to Native Americans. These funds empower tribes to address housing needs through new construction, rehabilitation, and infrastructure development, ensuring vibrant and thriving tribal communities.
