Yesterday marked one year since I lost my mother.

Grief is a strange thing. Some days it whispers. Other days it arrives unannounced and takes your breath away.

This past year has challenged me in ways I never imagined. Yet through every difficult moment, I kept building.

Because that's what she taught me.
