Meet Your Captain: Denny Chase ⚓

Local waters. Local knowledge. Capt. Denny has been running these Dularge marshes and bays long enough to know where the fish are hiding and how to put you on them. You show up, he handles the rest.

Our Office Opens At Sunrise 🌅

Some people commute in traffic. We commute across the marsh with the sun coming up over Terrebonne Bay. Come see it for yourself, the fishing's not bad either.

Fill The Ice Chest 🧊

Trout, redfish, and drum, straight from Terrebonne Parish waters to the cleaning table. This is what a good day out of Dularge looks like.

Come As Customers. Fish As Friends. Leave As Family. 🤝
That's not just on the boat, it's how Capt. Denny runs every trip out of Dularge. Most of these folks showed up as strangers and left with a cooler full of fish and a standing invite back.

Specks On The Menu Tonight 🍽️

Speckled trout fishing out of Dularge has been putting fish in the box. Catch 'em in the morning, fry 'em that night. That's the Louisiana way.

Every review on this page says some version of the same thing: Captain Denny put us on the fish, and we laughed the whole time.

One family drove in from Kentucky and all three kids caught a shark. Another one said he's a standup comedian, boat captain, and fisherman rolled into one. We're not going to argue with any of it.

To everybody who's taken the time to leave a recommendation, thank you. As of today it's 100 percent of you, and that means more to a one-boat operation than you know.

If you've fished with us and haven't said anything yet, we'd love to hear how your trip went. Tap Reviews at the top of the page, or just tell us in the comments. Your words are how the next family finds us.

Come fish with us.

The speckled trout are moving inland with the cooler water, and that means the fall bite out of Dularge is wide open. Right now we're putting customers on black drum, bull reds and slot reds, white trout, and specks as they push into the bays and bayous.

Fall is the best inshore fishing of the year in South Louisiana, and weekend dates are going fast. Call or text Captain Denny Chase at 985-209-8222 to book your trip with Gumbo Pot Guide Service.

Come as customers. Fish as friends. Leave as family.
