Michael joined the Crescent Power Systems team in 2026 as a Sales Executive supporting the Integration business. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the power, automation, and oil and gas industries, with a strong background in consultative sales, strategic business development, technical services, and operations leadership. Before joining CPS, Michael held leadership and business development roles in energy management and oilfield services, where he led large-scale strategic initiatives and supported customers across mission-critical, power generation, industrial, and energy markets.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Nuclear Engineering emphasis from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Kansas. Outside of work, he enjoys turning wrenches, powerlifting, and trying to keep up with his two children.

Shaped by his experience as a commercial insurance agent, he focuses on giving well-rounded, consultative guidance to help clients navigate risk and avoid disruption. He approaches his work with a genuine interest in understanding what matters most to them, not just what’s on paper. Outside of work, John values a slower pace of life, often spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children, Tallyn and Thomas, whether that’s at a game or enjoying quiet country nights away from the noise.

Our team had a great time at the Tulane Engineering Forum this past Friday! Ben Bayer, Max Scheurich, Robbie Colosino, and Joe Palermo represented Crescent Power Systems at this excellent event that brings together academia, major industries, consultants, technology providers, and government to discuss topics spanning space, infrastructure, water and climate, oil and gas, energy, and electricity generation. It's always valuable to connect with the local engineering community and meet the next generation of engineers entering the field. The Forum also offered a great way for our professional engineers to keep up on their professional development hours.

This past weekend, Crescent Power Systems hosted CPS Fest at our Mid-City New Orleans office, bringing together our team and their families for a day of food, music, and fun.

Events like this are a reminder that behind every project is a group of people who support one another both on and off the job. We are grateful for the families who are part of the CPS community and for the time to come together and celebrate.

This event supports an important mission through the Fore!Kids Foundation, which has distributed more than $55 million to children’s service organizations across Louisiana.
