I didn’t rush to post this… I wanted to sit still and thank God for 45 years of grace, growth, and quiet miracles.

This moment, captured by at , felt gentle and sacred. As I sipped tea, I thought about how something as simple as warmth in a cup can hold so much hope. And that’s where I am—hopeful.

FUN FACT
My first photoshoot wasn’t in a studio.
It was in my photographer’s apartment — a brick wall backdrop, shoes scattered across the floor, and a whole lot of heart.

No big budget. No blueprint.
Just me, figuring it out as I went. And honestly?
I’m still figuring things out.

But here we are — 6 years later.
Still walking in purpose. Still trusting God.
Still showing up.

This journey has never been perfect — but it’s been real, it’s been faith-filled, and it’s mine.

6 years ago, I started with a shoebox and a prayer. No blueprint. No big team. No backing.
Just bold faith and a belief that God would carry me.

Today, I celebrate 6 years of The Rustic Shoebox
and for the first time ever, I poured the wine, cut the cake, and gave myself permission to truly celebrate ME.

They said I didn’t have enough.
They said I couldn’t make it.
They counted me out.

But I’m still here.
Still building.
