Today marks 10 years since I launched NOLA Birth. A decade of being with families through so many highs, and some lows. I've been there through my own pregnancies, postpartums, years of breastfeeding, raising little people, and health struggles. I've given so much of myself into this work, alongside my primary work of family life. I'm glad I did. The families I've worked with and the experiences I've had have shaped me into a more confident, and compassionate woman. Thank you to each of you who have trusted me with your memories, and welcomed me into your birth space. Being chosen for this role in your lives has meant so much to me.
In the next few weeks, I'll be attending my last 5 births... At least for now. Growing in my heart throughout the spring was a desire to take some extended time for myself and my family as we figure out what's next for us. This might mean officially closing out this chapter in my life, or I might be back bigger and better than ever - I'm not sure. But I am sure that more and more I want my days to start and end in a place of peace and abundance, and to live the moments in between fully invested in the soul work of the people around me.
Thank you for being here, even though I rarely post!
Thank you for recommending me to your friends and family.
Thank you for supporting my family through this decade. β€
