Flood resilience is not a product decision. It's a planning decision.

The properties that hold up under pressure aren't protected by a single barrier or a last-minute deployment. They're defended by coordinated, layered systems — drainage, grading, waterproofing, early warning, and physical barriers working in sequence, by design, long before the storm is named.

As Hamilton of PS Flood Barriers (PS Industries Inc.) puts it in this clip:
"The correct product is the one for which a solid plan has been established and vetted."

The plan — who is responsible, what deploys first, how the layers activate in sequence — should be answered months before a storm is ever in the forecast. Resilience is built in advance. It is never improvised under pressure.
