Congratulations to LSU and LSU College of Science on the ribbon cutting of the new Our Lady of the Lake Health Interdisciplinary Science Building (ISB), an incredible milestone for the future of STEM education in Louisiana!
Designed by Eskew Dumez Ripple in collaboration with Payette, this four-story, 148,000-square-foot facility serves as a hub for more than 1,100 students, faculty, and researchers across five key disciplines: biological sciences, chemistry, geology and geophysics, mathematics, and physics and astronomy. The building features advanced laboratories, active learning classrooms, and dynamic spaces that support hands-on discovery and interdisciplinary research. By closing a critical gap in modern teaching and lab space, ISB enables LSU to accelerate student success in high-demand STEM fields while advancing research that will impact communities across the state and beyond.
It is truly a remarkable achievement and a critical investment in the next generation of scientists, healthcare leaders, and innovators. Thank you to our project manager Alecia Ardoin Mancuso and our installation team on helping bring this project to life!
