Data Insight Drop:

Stigma kills access.

In harm reduction research, stigma from healthcare providers consistently emerges as a key barrier to care often reducing trust, disclosure, and treatment uptake.

At Central City Consultant, we believe stigma isn’t just a social issue, it’s structural. It’s measurable. And it’s costing lives. That’s why our work with organizations like Capitol Area Reentry Program Inc. centers trauma-informed data, lived experience, and public health accountability.

We’re not just collecting data. We’re challenging systems and building new ones with our communities at the center.

Hey CCC community! Tomorrow is a big day—Election Day! Make sure to head to the polls and make your voice heard. 🗳️
Here’s a quick rundown of the 4 constitutional amendments on the ballot:
Specialty Courts and Lawyer Discipline: This amendment would allow the Louisiana Supreme Court to discipline out-of-state lawyers for unethical practices and expand the legislature’s ability to create specialty courts, like business courts.
Tax and Budget Changes: This amendment proposes lowering the maximum state income tax rate, increasing tax deductions for residents over 65, limiting government spending growth, and addressing teacher retirement debt with budget surpluses.
Juvenile Prosecution: This amendment would move the list of felonies for which juveniles can be tried as adults from the state constitution to statute, making it easier to add or remove offenses from the list.
Judicial Vacancies: This amendment aims to streamline the process for filling judicial vacancies, ensuring that courts can continue to function efficiently.
