My friends are so talented and the students are wicked smart and talented. I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to teach and get to know them. What a great way to kick off the 2024 Past Forward Conference.

The rescheduled Happy Hour is in just one week, during the National Trust Conference. Please join us on 10/29 (check out pic for all the details). This is a rare opportunity for the students to make real-world connections on and beyond New Orleans (and for all of us alumni to catch up.)

So proud to announce a project I’ve been working on for years is finally going live! Shifting Landscapes: Slavery and the Built Environment will kick off with a virtual panel discussion on 9/11 at 6pm. I’ll be there!

The results are in! We officially invite alumni and current students to join us for Happy Hour on 9/12 (check out pic for all the details). The students really appreciate making real-world connections, and it’s a good opportunity for alumni to catch up. Help us spread the word by sharing this and the email that is to follow shortly.
