Why did my house blow up today and one of my workers not come home. Let me show you why. Water service we were doing today. All utilities called and marked. We start digging and bam. The 4" gas main is 12' from where the marks are. I think most of us in the excavating business have had the same s**t to deal with. This mismarked line is why people don't come home and buildings can blow up. Thanks to our operator Vic who can feel the earth when he digs no one was hurt this time and nothing blew up.
