Another year without my friends that paid the ultimate price serving this GREAT NATION. I miss them and hope to never loose another one. But this is what happens when you sign a check to the United States of America for your life, to serve. It was a privilege to serve the people of our country. I got a unique opportunity as a Buckeye Career Center student(Heavy Equipment Operator program)reached out with a request to conduct a "Job Shadow". I had a few small jobs lined up for the day and a half experience. Little did I know, he would get two real world experiences. During a truck inspection a tire was found failing and was replaced, and on our aging excavator, Joe Dirt, a top track roller needed to be replaced. These are the very things that do come up even with the best plans in place. We refreshed a driveway for one customer, hauled five loads of aggregate for another customer and loaded up and hauled off a stump and brush for the last customer. Before, During, and After. I learn something everyday, and challenge you all to do the same​. Thank you for the opportunity to help you.

Haul blocks and caps in, excavate a level trench, compact base aggregate, set blocks straight and level then, cap it! During and After, missed the Before picture...No golf ball.
