Maine Timber Mats is owned and operated by Justin Jordan and his fiance Josephine Tulloss. They purchased the mill in December 2019 and started making timber mats February 2020. Justin and Josephine are very active in the day to day operations; Justin can often be found “out in the mill” helping out and finding ways to make the operations run smoother and more efficiently. Josephine spends most of her time in the office, however, she is often seen walking around checking things out and running errands for the business. They hired 5 employees: Scott who runs the drill, forklift, and does a lot of fabrication - Leo who runs the chop saw, forklift and spare sawyer - Kevin is the main sawyer and jack of all trades here at MTM- Tim is the log scaler, “yard guy”, and maintenance - Karna is the Office Administrator. AND, we can not forget about Tippy who is the greeter in the office, but spends most of his day sleeping on his nice cozy bed!!! Justin, Josephine and the whole crew at Maine Timber Mats are very excited about the future and look forward to building relationships with their vendors and customers.
