Bee-Safe’s leadership development is rooted in a simple principle: strong organizations are built by strong leaders.

In December 2025, and again this week, Bee-Safe’s owner took the full leadership team on a two-day leadership and team-building retreat designed to strengthen both the individual and the collective. The goal was not only to develop better leaders, but to help each team member gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their peers, and the way they contribute to the mission.

Over the course of the retreat, the team explored how different people communicate, process information, and solve problems.

They also gained practical tools for improving communication, adapting to different personalities, and delivering messages more effectively.

Just as importantly, they had the opportunity to hear directly from the CEO about the origin of Bee-Safe, the company’s growth journey, the realities of entrepreneurship, and the long-term vision for the future.

The team left better equipped to carry out the Bee-Safe mission and continue growing both professionally and personally.

Investing in leadership development is not just about today’s performance — it is about building the foundation for long-term success.

May 30th & 31st, 2026: 20-HR OPOTA Class @ Bee-Safe Training Academy.

This past weekend, Bee-Safe Training Academy completed another 20-hour OPOTA Fi****ms Course, consisting of 10 hours in the classroom and 10 hours on the range.

We ensure every student meets the State of Ohio requirements and successfully passes each mandated component. That foundation matters—but we don’t stop there.

The final portion of our range time is where we separate ourselves.

We dedicate those hours to developing practical, real-world skills—focusing on movement, decision-making, and marksmanship under more realistic conditions. Because in the real world, threats are not stationary, and neither should you be.

Our responsibility goes beyond certification. We are preparing individuals to respond effectively, think critically, and perform when it actually counts.

At Bee-Safe Training Academy, meeting the standard is the minimum—training beyond it is the expectation!!!
