🏡 Before the storm, take pictures. After the storm, you’ll be glad you did.

One of the simplest things you can do to protect yourself before a hurricane is to document the condition of your home.

📸 Walk around your property and take clear photos and videos of your roof, windows, doors, gutters, siding, landscaping, and any outdoor structures.

Don’t forget your garage, pool enclosure, fencing, and other areas that could be damaged by high winds or heavy rain.

Next go through your home room by room and document the contents and condition.

These photos can serve as valuable evidence of your property’s condition before the storm and help support your insurance claim if damage occurs.

A few minutes of preparation today could save you a major headache later.

If your home suffers storm damage, Coastal Claims Services is here to help you navigate the insurance claims process.

Prepare now. Protect what matters. 🌀

With severe weather approaching the Gulf Coast, now is the time to make sure your home or business is ready. Secure outdoor items, gather emergency supplies, review your insurance coverage, and take photos or video of your property before the storm arrives.

And if your property is damaged after the storm, don’t navigate the insurance claims process alone.

Coastal Claims Services represents YOU, not the insurance company. We can help document your damage, understand your policy, and work to make sure your claim is handled fairly.

Stay prepared. Stay safe. And remember, when the storm passes, at Coastal Claims Services we work for you. 🏡

Just as a reminder, the size of the claim is not important, getting it handled in the best interest of the home or business owner is!

We spent sometime this month talking to public adjusters and PA firms across the region.

The takeaways:

âś… PA-to-PA collaboration is underutilized

âś… Capacity gaps = lost policyholders

âś… State licensing coverage is a real business need

âś… Bad faith documentation should be standard on every file

If you want to explore what a partnership with CCS looks like, DM COLLAB.

Next month: we're talking to homeowners and property owners about how to protect themselves. đź‘€

File types where PA-to-PA collaboration delivers the most value:

1. Large commercial losses requiring multi-discipline coverage

2. Multi-state portfolios with licensing gaps

3. Bad faith files requiring documentation strategy + legal positioning

4. High-volume catastrophe events exceeding firm capacity

5. Causation disputes requiring expert coordination

For these file types, a pre-established partner relationship is an operational asset.

Comment COLLAB to discuss.

Here's the simplest version of why PA-to-PA collaboration makes sense:

The goal is always the same: the policyholder gets what they're owed.

We're not protecting territory. We're protecting outcomes.

If you have a file where CCS can help — through licensing, capacity, or expertise — we want to hear about it.

DM COLLAB.

PA firms — where are the gaps in your current licensing that cost you referrals?

A) Florida

B) South Carolina

C) Maryland

D) Another state — drop it in the comments

This helps us understand where reciprocal referrals make the most sense.
