Money is a mindset, and it starts at home!.
It’s been about 5 years of money talks and lessons along the way.
This week they came home with a flyer for a book fair at the school and instead of asking us for money they thought about a source of income, they came up with “A lemonade stand”. They had a goal of $33 -$100 respectively, but as they know, they have to make more than the goal to be able to Save spend and give! Also, it was an opportunity to teach them about -GOALS.
Well, their hard work paid off and they exceeded their goal. They were able to raise $150 in between the two of them, have a return of their investment, save and $33 to SPEND/ENJOY at the book fair.
Money comes from work and it’s our job to teach our kids how to make, keep and invest their money!
