Wow this was Fun😌.......but 🤔
Dear Fashion and Media Industry
I Vince Chase have Humbly sat back for over a decade as a creative and small business owner . Frustrated by what I continue to witness as the fashion industry have carelessly picked through the culture of black and brown people around the world . Using what you may for entertainment and profit. Now that We have approached the Dawn of Drastic Change, when the world has come together to show unity and that lives of the People the culture that fill your pockets ...MATTER.
With that being said dose this mean , that we can possibly see more
- Respect and Understanding for the culture which you profit off of?
- Partnership with small black own brands?
- Giving back to inner city youth ,who are Zombies to your labels and trends
- Equal booking opportunities for black and brown faces and creatives in magazines , movie screens or digital streaming device’s.
- Truth about the industry and the racial basis that comes with it?
“We have enough blacks for the show” or “You’re too urban for this catalog” is what I’ve encountered and endured for almost 14 years now. When will there any real change? These are just a few points from history that Black and Brown creatives have wondered for decades. Will we be good enough to not only be considered but be more of a priory than an accessory? For we would hate for this to be some kind of publicity front where it goes back to the same o routine.
