Today is Holy Saturday. It is the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. I could imagine the disciples’ sorrow, anguish, despair and confusion as they now mourn and reflect what happened on the day before. Questions are probably looming inside their minds as the tomb remains sealed. They were probably anxiously waiting for something miraculous to happen. For us, we already know how the story ends or may I say how the Easter Story begins.

Holy Saturday is our day of great Silence, of stillness and of giving our full trust that tomorrow He will be victorious. Today, we reflect on His Goodness and Mercy for giving up His Life for the forgiveness of our sins and most importantly for His Divine Love for us. Today, may we think of the ways of loving others as Jesus Christ has loved us. Today, we silently contemplate that He has done everything on Good Friday and rest in His love.

This verse reminds me of the faithfulness of God, that He is my shield and my protection. When my days are hard and the nights are but darkness, He is the one who lifts my head and tells me, “I am here for you and everything is going to be ok my child”.

How many times in our lives when we felt truly scared? It might be about the time when you are waiting for a medical result, a loved one being sick or having to face uncertainties in life. Whatever it is, may we choose to put our Trust in Him for He is with us wherever we go. He is in control. He loves us and He will never forsake us God bless you all.
