Their first LA store marks a significant milestone in the Noah story as a brand with an inherent connection to California:
“Every magazine was featuring skaters and surfers in California. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fishbone were doing something we’d never heard before. Didn’t know we needed it, but it instantly made sense.
All of what California was offering us got absorbed, compounded, and layered on top of a basically preppy, and sometimes punk, sometimes hip-hop, style, defining a new Northeast attitude.”

The store is both retail and much more — The 5,000 square foot space by Estelle Bailey Babenzien ( ) and architects Studio Murnane () was designed to be shared. It features a skate bowl by Machine Histories (), a culinary installation by Reform Kitchen, with artwork by Dale Zinkowski (), Shane McClatchey, Peter Anderson, Curtis Kulig () & Paul Ferney (). The curtains in the fitting room are repurposed sails constructed by .
