බල්ලන් සහ "දිවියෙකු" අතර තරඟයක් සංවිධානය කර තිබුණේ කුමන සතාද වේගයෙන්ම දුවන්නේ යන්න සොයා බැලීමටයි
තරඟය ආරම්භ වූයේ අහසට වෙඩි තැබූ තුවක්කුවෙනි
සියලුම බල්ලන් දුවන්න පටන් ගත්තා
ඒත් "දිවියා" අඩුම තරමේ උගේ කූඩුවෙන්වත් එලියට ආවේ නැත
තරඟය නැරඹීමට රැස්ව සිටි සියලු දෙනාටම අදහාගත නොහැකි පුදුමයක්
මොකද වුණේ?
ඇයි දිවියා දුවන්නේ නැත්තේ?
ඔවුන් තරඟ සම්බන්ධීකාරකගෙන් ඇසුවා
එයට ඔහුගේ ප්‍රතිචාරය අපූරුය
සමහර විට ඔබ හොඳම බව අන් අයට ඔප්පු කිරීමට යාම ලැජ්ජාවකි
"දිවියන්" සිය වේගය දඩයම් කිරීම සඳහා පමණක් භාවිතා කරයි
උගේ වේගය, හැකියාව, ශක්තිය "එක එක බල්ලන්ට" ඔප්පු කිරීමට ඌට අවශ්‍ය නැත
එසේම අපගේ ජීවිතයේද බොහෝ අවස්ථාවන්හිදී "අපි හොඳම" බව සෑම කෙනෙකුටම ඔප්පු කිරීමට උත්සාහ කිරීම අවශ්‍ය නොවේ
එසේ කිරීම අපට ලැජ්ජාවක් වන අතර එය අපතේ යන උත්සාහයක් පමණක් නොව කාලය, මුදල් හා ශක්තිය අපතේ යැවීමකි
අවශ්‍ය නැති අයට...
නුසුදුසු අයට...
විකටයන්ට...
ආත්මාර්ථකාමී අයට...
"අපි කවුද?"
"අපගේ හැකියාවන් මොනවාද?"
යන්න ඔප්පු කිරීමට නොයා, නිහඬව ඔවුන් පසුකර යන්න
අප සහ ඔවුන් අතර අවශ්‍ය පරතරයක් තබා ගන්න
