Secret Riso Club is a design and risograph studio based in Brooklyn, NYC. SRC is run in collaboration between Gonzalo Guerrero and Tara Ridgedell.

Secret Riso Club is a graphic design and risograph studio that focuses its work on the intersection of social justice, art, design and community building. In our practice, we work to build a platform that serves as a collaborative space for developing ideas and new projects. Located in Brooklyn, NY.

🧑‍💻Join us for an ONLNE edition of TouchDesigner for Print taught by GRNCH 👾

☝️TouchDesigner is a real-time generative graphics application capable of producing everything from noise-driven abstract compositions to complex mathematical forms. In this class, we’ll use it as a design tool for print — building generative poster artwork and then preparing it for life on the Risograph.

🔄We’ll go through multiple examples of how to create beautiful generative compositions in TD with a focus on static output: working at print resolution, exporting high-quality still frames, and separating your artwork into two color channels ready for Riso printing.

No experience necessary! Select the option for Riso prints if you’d like your art printed and mailed to you. 💌

On Friday, September 25th, 2–7PM, we’ll be offering Riso certification for people with prior experience operating a Risograph machine and looking to gain independent access to our studio. 📋  During the session, participants become familiar with the space, learn about our studio capabilities and equipment and take the certification test to operate our MF-9450 & EZ591 Risograph machines.

Participants can book a time slot through the link in our bio. You can find more information about what our studio offers in terms of equipment and availabilities on our website.
