Everybody’s doing the same thing… except one person
LeBron in the air
Game on the line
Every phone in the arena pointed at the court
And the Nike founder is just sitting there. No phone. No recording. No proof.
The wealthiest people I know aren’t smarter.
They’re not luckier.
They’re not grinding harder.
They’re just less distracted.
And it shows up in two places: how fast they build things, and how long those things last.

GoldenEye 007 was built in under two years by nine people. Most of them had never made a game before.
No Slack chaos.
No endless meetings.
No performative updates.
They showed up, solved one problem at a time, and shipped one of the best-selling games in history.
That’s what focus looks like at maximum velocity.
The myth is that distraction slows you down a little.
The reality is it breaks momentum entirely.
