I woke up to good news today, news of blessings, news of addition to my family in a unique way, and I am grateful.

My sister had another baby on her birthday (today)!!!💃💃💃🎉🎉🎉
And she had her first 2 the day before her birthday 🤗🤗 (yesterday was the anniversary!🙌🏿🙌🏿❤️)

A new chapter has opened for us and I am trusting God that it would be one of the most beautiful ones we have had yet🙏🙏

✅ Well, suffice it to say that I am a little more exhausted today... 😅

🙌🏿 I made it to my appointment, did my best there, and now I have the rest of my evening to do with as I see fit 💃💃💃

💃🥳 It took me 3 years and 11 months to finish a 6 MONTH Course!!! And I did it tonight!!! 🎊🎉🎊

🤔 Now, someone might think there is no reason to celebrate considering that those who started the journey with me had long completed theirs... 🤷🏿‍♂️

✅ Or, someone might ask, what took you so long??!! 🧐

💯 Well, life surely happened to me, but guess what?? I didn't give up!!! 💃💃💃🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

😭 I had so many reasons to just quit and not finish, but I didn't want to remember that I started and never finished, so I stayed on 🤕🥹

❤️‍🩹 So much seemed to have been wasted, but I celebrate the fact that I finally finished and got my certificate! ❤️🥳💃🎉🎊

So, please don't quit. You can still do it - whatever it is you used to be passionate about.
Whatever that good thing was that you started, please go and finish it.

🙏 I am grateful that I finished! 🙏

🥳 It's Monday and I have a stack of To-Do items for the day and the week, some that are already in a backlog and need to be finished fast 😅 but I am grateful for another day and another week 🙌🏿🙏

❤️‍🩹 I am learning how to prioritize self-care and work on myself and my peace of mind too ❣️

✅ So, I refuse to allow the overwhelmed feeling to stay with me💃💖

This morning started with heavy rain, it was discouraging but we made it to church after all. Thank God! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

And it was a pleasant surprise to see so many people come too.

We had an awesome worship experience and the message was powerful, timely and much needed.
I'm glad I made it to church today.

🤔 So, since everyone has an opinion 🤷🏿‍♂️, especially nowadays through social media 😅, I believe that now more than ever, the choice to be and do should depend on our preferences 💃 - after of course checking to see if that choice is moral and will not cause h@rm to anyone else 💚

✅ Enough of trying to please everyone - we can't, and we'll only end up unhappy 🤷🏿‍♂️

🧡 Be yourself and do what makes you happy and brings you a measure of satisfaction - as long as there is nothing you know to be wrong with it.
💖 If you learn that that action was not the best, make the change and learn from the experience.

💃 There is really no expert at being a human being. 🤗 We are all learning and growing, and existing in our unique environments and circumstances ✅💯

💯 That's my recommendation 💖
