(Un)grounded is a theatrical circus piece highlighting the lived experience of its performers - all of whom live with a disability or chronic illness. Amy Tsai’s work questions societal standards of what “healthy” means through a performance that sheds light on disability on both a personal level and in the broader artistic world. ConsultAbility is thrilled to see this type of work being put up, helping to improve the world of theater one step (and wheel!) at a time.
Tickets start at $17.95 for shows playing April 15th and 17th at 7:30pm at the Brooklyn Art Haus. An ASL interpreter will be present for both performances. Please visit to learn more and buy tickets.

ID: A dark colored flyer with a graphic of an aerialist hanging from a rope reads “Cirkus Moxie Presents: (un)grounded” and in smaller font “an evening of circus by artists with chronic health conditions and disabilties” The Bkln Art Haus logo is in the bottom left corner and “April 15th and 17th at 7:30” is written in the bottom right corner.

Fantastic article in The New York Times about All of Me, an incredible new show at The New Group / Signature Theatre that Paul and I (ConsultAbility ) consulted on. And there's even a fun mention of me and suffs later in the article ;)

Madison Ferris and Danny J. Gomez star in the meet-cute “All of Me” — proof that depictions of disability onstage don’t have to be “a buzz kill,” as Ferris puts it.
